As the Greenville Eastern North Carolina (ENC) Alliance continues to focus on promoting the Greenville-Pitt County area, the economic development organization hired a new staff member to support marketing efforts.  Julia Davis, a Pitt County native and East Carolina University graduate, joined the Greenville ENC Alliance team to fill the role of marketing and investor relations coordinator.

“I am eager to contribute my skills to work with the marketing and investor relations teams, aiming to drive growth and continuing to build those relationships within the Alliance,” shared Davis. “I’m most looking forward to the opportunity to play a role in promoting economic development, fostering connections, and highlighting the greatness of Greenville.”

Davis has a background in industry and nonprofit marketing. She most recently worked for Aces for Autism as the organization’s marketing and events coordinator. In her role there, she was responsible for fostering relationships with stakeholders, planning fundraisers, and coordinating marketing efforts.

“I’m excited about the experience Julia brings with developing and maintaining relationships and executing highly successful events,” said David Horn, director of strategic partnerships. “This bodes well as our stakeholder base continues growing and she takes on managing some of our investor relationships, assisting with the administration of our municipal grant program, producing our quarterly investor e-newsletter, and assisting with the organizing and execution of our annual investor reception, monthly investor breakfasts, and other key events and partner outreach initiatives.”

In addition to responsibilities with investor relations, Davis will work with marketing and communications on digital marketing efforts, event planning, and targeted outreach to prospects, stakeholders, businesses, and community members. She will also assist with the creation and implementation of talent attraction and retention initiatives.

“We’re excited and fortunate to have Julia on our team. She brings energy and enthusiasm to the work we’re doing, and she is clearly passionate about bringing attention to the quality of life, affordability, and livability of Greenville-Pitt County,” said Maria Satira, director of marketing and communications. “We look forward to working with Julia on talent attraction and retention marketing, especially since she can relate to this project personally as someone who grew up in the area, graduated from ECU, and chose to stay in Greenville to start and grow a career.”

Julia holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from East Carolina University and a certificate in professional selling from the College of Business. Her passion for service and fueling growth extends to active involvement and volunteering for local nonprofit causes.

“I am committed to enhancing the growth of my hometown,” added Davis. “As a Greenville native, it has always been my mission to stay, contribute, and serve my community.”

Beyond work, Julia enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, including her two dogs, Gunner and Bodhi. To learn more about Julia Davis, visit her full biography on the Greenville ENC Alliance website.
