Annual Festivals and Events in Greenville-Pitt County

Held annually in downtown Greenville, PirateFest is a celebration of all things pirate, complete with a parade, live music, food vendors, and family-friendly activities. This event is a favorite among locals and tourists alike.

The Pitt County Fair is a traditional county fair featuring carnival rides, games, livestock shows, and plenty of fair food. It’s an excellent place for families to enjoy a day of fun and community spirit.

These pre-game pep rallies are held during the football season to support the East Carolina University (ECU) Pirates. Locals enjoy Freeboot Fridays for its live music, food trucks, and lively atmosphere perfect for football fans and families.

Running from May to August, the Leroy Jenkins Farmers Market features fresh produce, meats, eggs, handmade arts, jewelry, antiques, homemade bath products, baked goods, wine, local craft brew, and more.

A summer staple since 1973, Sunday in the Park showcases talented local bands at the Greenville Town Common. With food trucks and a beer garden on site for each event, it creates a fun night out to enjoy all summer long.
